    Dosage & Administration

    ・Take the medicine with water, without breaking the tablet.


    ・Take once daily at the same time each day after meals, for increased absorption effects.


    ・If you forget to take the pill, do not take two pills the next time. Take one pill as usual.

    Side Effects

    If you experience any of the following side effects, discontinue use of the medication and seek appropriate medical attention.


    ・Liver problems, jaundice, ejaculation, erectile dysfunction, and sexual dysfunction.


    However, since decreased libido is often linked to psychological factors, it’s unlikely to be a side effect unless the symptoms appear right after taking the medication.

    Precautions

    ・Only men can use Dutasteride


    ・Do not use if you have a history of hypersensitivity or allergies to this medication.


    ・If you plan to be screened for prostate cancer, please let your doctor know that you are taking Dutasteride.


    ・If you are using other medicines, please consult your doctor. When you visit other medical institution, inform them that you are taking AGA medicine.


    ・In case of emergencies, such as the occurrence of serious side effects, stop taking the medication and go to the nearest medical institution.

    Approval status in Japan

    ・In Japan, Dutasteride was approved in 2015 for the treatment of AGA (Androgenetic Alopecia).
