    Dosage & Administration

    - Take the medication at the same time each day, regardless of meal timing.


    - If you miss a dose, take it as soon as possible, and take the next dose at the same time as usual on the following day.


    - If you miss a dose, do not increase the dosage for the following day.


    - If more than 3 days have passed since the last Saxenda dose, restart at 0.6mg daily for one week and follow the dose escalation schedule.


    - Start with 0.6mg per dose, and if you do not feel the effect of appetite suppression, the dose can be increased by 0.6mg each week, up to a maximum 3.0mg / dose.

    Side Effects

    While side effects typically improve on their own, if you notice any unusual symptoms, it's important to take appropriate action, such as stopping the medication and seeking medical treatment.


    The following side effects may occur:

    Gastrointestinal disorders, hypoglycemia*1, acute pancreatitis, among others.


    - In case of emergency, such as the appearance of serious side effects, stop taking the drug and seek medical attention at the nearest medical institution.


    *1: Symptoms of hypoglycemia include weakness, fatigue, intense hunger, cold sweats, pallor, palpitations, tremors, headache, dizziness, nausea, and visual changes.

    Precautions

    - Do not use if you are pregnant or plan to become pregnant, breastfeeding, or within 3 months postpartum.


    - Please consult with your doctor if you are using other medications.


    - When visiting other health care providers, please mention that you are taking Saxenda.


    - In case of an emergency, such as the appearance of serious side effects, stop taking the drug immediately and seek medical attention at the nearest medical institution.


    - When storing unused Saxenda, it is recommended to keep it in the refrigerator to avoid sudden temperature changes. Use within 30 days after start of use.
