Important safety information including dosage, side effects, and precautions of Wegovy.
Dosage & Administration
・Administer Wegovy once weekly, on the same day each week, at any time of the day, with or without meals.
・If you miss an injection, and there are more than 2 days (48 hours) until the next scheduled injection, administer the missed dose immediately and then continue with your originally scheduled day for subsequent injections. If less than 2 days remain until the next scheduled injection, do not administer the missed dose and simply proceed with the next injection on your regular day.
・Do not increase the dose to make up for the missed injection.
Side Effects
While side effects typically improve on their own, if you notice any unusual symptoms, it's important to take appropriate action, such as stopping the medication and seeking medical treatment.
The following side effects may occur:
・Gastrointestinal disorders (nausea, vomiting, diarrhea), hypoglycemia*1, acute pancreatitis, among others.
*1: Symptoms of hypoglycemia include weakness, fatigue, intense hunger, cold sweats, pallor, palpitations, tremors, headache, dizziness, nausea, and visual changes.
Precautions
・Do not use if you are pregnant or plan to become pregnant, breastfeeding, or within 3 months postpartum.
・Consult your doctor if you are taking other medications.
・When visiting other healthcare providers, inform them that you are using this medication.
・In case of severe side effects, immediately stop use and seek medical attention.
・Store Wegovy in the refrigerator to protect it from sudden temperature changes.

・For the safe disposal of needles, we advise placing used needles in a designated disposal container and checking your local disposal regulations.
