    Dosage & Administration

    ・Please take 40mg once daily with a meal.


    ・To enhance drug absorption, it is essential to take it with food.


    ・Try to take the medication at approximately the same time every day (ideally in the morning).

    Side Effects

    While side effects typically improve on their own, if you notice any unusual symptoms, it's important to take appropriate action, such as stopping the medication and seeking medical treatment.


    The following side effects may occur.

    ・Hepatic dysfunction, polycythemia, headache, increased red blood cell count, lipid abnormalities, hypertension, nausea. Increased PSA, prostate enlargement, increased acne.

    Precautions

    ・If you wish to discontinue usage, please consult your physician beforehand.

    Discontinuing male hormone supplementation may lead to a sudden drop in testosterone levels in the body, which could result in symptoms such as depression.


    ・Do not use this medication if you have a history of hypersensitivity or allergies (rash, redness, itching, blistering, swelling, vesicles, etc.). Similarly, do not use if you have a history of allergic reactions to other medications.


    ・Supplementation of male hormones from external sources may lead to a decline in testicular function, making sperm production difficult, and causing a cessation of the natural secretion of male hormones from the testes, potentially leading to male infertility.


    ・In case of severe side effects or emergencies, discontinue application and seek immediate medical attention.


    ・If you are using other medications, consult your physician. Also, when visiting other healthcare facilities, please disclose your medication regimen.


    ・If diagnosed with prostate diseases such as benign prostatic hyperplasia or prostate cancer by a physician, discontinue use immediately.

    ・CERNOS Testosterone Capsules is not approved for treatment in Japan and is not covered by insurance.
