Dosage & Administration
For flu prevention:
・Adults weighing less than 80 kg should take 2 tablets (40 mg) at once as a single dose.
・Adults weighing 80 kg or more should take 4 tablets (80 mg) at once as a single dose.
If you accidentally take more than the prescribed dose, consult your doctor or pharmacist immediately.
Side Effects
The most commonly reported side effects include diarrhea and nausea. If any of these symptoms occur, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.
Serious Side Effects
If you develop any of the serious side effects listed below, discontinue use and visit a medical facility immediately:
・Facial pallor, breathing difficulty, itch [shock, anaphylaxis]
・Breaking out in a run, wandering [abnormal behavior]
・Stomachache, diarrhea, bloody stool [ischemic colitis]
・Bloody stool, nasal bleeding, bloody urine [bleeding]
Consult with your doctor or pharmacist if you notice any symptoms of concern other than those listed above.
Precautions
・Do not take this medication if you have liver dysfunction, are pregnant or breastfeeding, and do not give to children under 1 year old.
・Keep out of reach of children. Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight, heat, and moisture.

・In Japan, this medication is approved under the Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices Act as a preventive treatment for influenza.
