Important safety information including dosage, side effects, and precautions of Vitadan.

    Dosage

    Take 1 tablet of each medication, without crushing, 1 or 2 times a day with water.


    ・If you forget to take a dose, do not take a double or triple dose. Take the missed dose as soon as you remember.

    Common Side Effects

    Although side effects are very rare, the following may occur. Usually, side effects will subside, but if you notice any abnormalities, please stop taking the medication and consult your doctor.


    ・Gastrointestinal symptoms such as discomfort, nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea

    Precautions

    ・Do not use this medication if you have a history of hypersensitivity or allergy to this medication.


    ・Consult your doctor if you are taking any other medications. Also, inform other healthcare providers about your use of this medication.


    ・If you undergo medical tests such as urine or stool tests, please stop taking this medication and inform your doctor that you are taking it.

    Approval status in Japan

    ・Vitadan is approved under the Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices Act, but is not approved in Japan for cosmetic purposes.


    *Medicines prescribed by this department are not covered by the Adverse Reactions Relief System.

    ・There are no domestically approved drugs that have the same active ingredient as Vitadan and meet cosmetic use.
