Possible side effects
Side effects include but are not limited to nausea, heartburn, hypoglycemia, constipation, and diarrhea.
If you experience common side effects, they generally resolve within a few days to a few weeks. According to a survey of elife users, over half of those who experienced side effects reported that their symptoms were gone within one week.
Preventing side effects
◼︎ Stomach pain
Avoid fried or greasy foods, as they can increase discomfort.
Using antacids or anti-nausea medication may also be effective. At elife, we offer a side effect relief set. If you are interested, please contact customer support or talk about it with our counselors.
◼︎ Low blood sugar (hypoglycemia)
Your risk may increase if taken with insulin or other medicines that can cause low blood sugar. Be careful not to overly restrict your diet. Signs of hypoglycemia may include dizziness and lightheadedness.
It is also recommended to carry foods containing sugar or glucose, like candy, while taking the medication. If symptoms appear, consume them promptly.
