How to use
Inject once-a-week on the same day, into an area of the abdomen, thigh, or upper arm. Do not inject into a vein or muscle.
For first-time users:
Start with 0.25mg per injection. After four weeks, you can increase the dose to 0.5mg per injection.
For ongoing users:
Maintain with 0.5mg per injection. Administer the prescribed dose weekly, as discussed with the doctor.
When increasing dosage:
After continuing with 0.5mg for at least four weeks, you can increase the dose to 1.0mg per injection (the maximum dose is 1.0mg per injection)

◼ Low blood sugar (hypoglycemia)
Your risk may increase if taken with insulin or other medicines that can cause low blood sugar. Be careful not to overly restrict your diet. Signs of hypoglycemia may include dizziness and lightheadedness.
It is also recommended to carry foods containing sugar or glucose, like candy, while taking the medication. If symptoms appear, consume them promptly.

Take one dose as soon as you remember, then continue with your regular schedule.
◼︎If more than 5 days have passed:
Skip the missed dose and wait until your next scheduled dose. Do not administer an extra dose to make up for the missed dose.
Before first use, store Ozempic in the refrigerator at 2°C to 8°C. Do not use if it has been frozen.
After first use, the pen can be stored for 56 days either in the refrigerator or at room temperature (15°C to 30°C). Protect it from excessive heat and sunlight, and keep the cap on when not in use.
Remove and safely discard the needle after each injection, and ensure a new needle is used every time.
For the safe disposal of needles, we advise placing used needles in a designated disposal container and checking your local disposal regulations.
